# Congratulations to Our Latest Employee of the Quarter Nick Kennedy!

Please join all of us in congratulating our Employee of the Quarter for Q4 of 2016, Nick Kennedy. Nick first joined Sparks Group in July 2016 as a Sales Coordinator, and was quickly promoted to his current Business Development Manager role in Tysons Corner, VA.

"Nick embodies all of the qualities I look for in a stellar BDM," said Crystal Connelly, Director of Sales for Sparks Group. "He has a can-do attitude, a client- focused approach, and a keen ability to make sure the client and our recruiting teams are all on the same page and focused on the same mission. As his manager, I cannot even begin to paint with words how proud I am of Nick for his resilience, hard work and dedication to the craft of sales. He is more than deserving of the honor of Employee of the Quarter!"

Nick was nominated for the award through a peer nomination process, with final selection being made by the Sparks Group Executive Team. Here were some of the nominations submitted for Nick:

- "Old Man Nick" was an awesome addition to the Tysons staff and the Tysons office, in general. He’s hardworking, earnest and motivated. I noticed last week that Nick has met or exceeded his goals every month since July or August which is amazing!"
- "I would like to nominate Nicholas Byron Kennedy for employee of the quarter. He has gone above any beyond not only by being a 1st year BDM and crushing his goal to make presidents club, but he totally embodies the Sparks Group “Sparkle”. He makes himself available to any and every recruiter that has questions about his accounts and is also a team player for Accounting and Finance and Tysons when accounts do not fall to him. Nick is an honest and ethical employee and always thinking of Sparks Group before himself. Nick cares about every candidate, client and internal employee. I have had the pleasure of working with Nick for the last year and seeing him grow and take on being a resource for other business development managers without hesitation has been amazing. His work ethic in a position that holds a lot of 'No’s' and Rejection has never faltered and he is what Sparks Group is all about."
- \[Nick is\] consistently bringing in new orders that are great opportunities and, outside of the brass tacks of his actual job responsibilities, he’s just amazing to be around in the office! His energy is incredible and it’s genuinely a pleasure to work with him. I see him constantly working and getting boots to the ground to get new orders and interface with clients, so he’s done an excellent job of leading by example."
