### Sparks Group’s Accounting and Finance Division Rises to New Heights, Levels of Growth and Achievement

**Rockville, MD – May 23, 2017** - [Sparks Group](http://www.sparksgroupinc.com), the Washington, DC area’s leading temporary staffing and full-time recruiting services provider, announces today that its Accounting and Finance Division continues to lead the future of the industry as it evolves and innovates to meet new opportunities and challenges. Particular adjustments include establishing a designated Direct Hire recruiting team within the Division as demand continues to surge for Direct Hire business as opposed to Contract Work. As it is largely a ‘candidate’s market,’ more than ever before, talent is in the ‘driver’s seat’ to locate new opportunities and negotiate terms.

Some additional key milestones the Accounting and Finance Division has achieved to-date include:

- **Consistent expansion in the recruiting team** year-over-year since 2015;
- **Nearly 80% customer retention;**
- **Establishment of an annual training program** for both Recruiters and Account Executives and
- **Continuing to hold the title for the last 2 years running for the company’s ‘Top Producer’ recognition**.

In addition to the accomplishments the team has seen over the past year, Sparks Group’s Accounting and Finance Division continues to hold its finger on the pulse of the industry overall - to meet and respond to growing needs and demands change and remaining on top of the latest in skill sets and software expertise clients are seeking from their talent. Several key skills, such as Loan Originators, CPAs, Staff Accountants, Acquisitions Specialists, Subcontracting Specialists, Pricing Specialists, Grant Specialists, Auditors, Tax Specialists, Payroll Specialists, and Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, are among the most desired at-present. Software tools, such as Deltek, Timberline, Microsoft GP, SAP ERP, and QuickBooks remain at the top of the list for talent to be familiar with for top placements. In particular, client companies are seeking talent that not only has the ability to use these types of platforms - but those who are able to hit the ground running with the latest versions of each.

Going forward, the Accounting and Finance Division at Sparks Group is focused on the future, and continuing to build on the momentum and tremendous success it has achieved recently. It plans to bolster its ongoing growth in several ways, such as:
